How to get pregnant

 1. 1. Predicting Baby Gender - Answers to the Top Conception Myths

www.predictingbabygender.info

 2. 2.

Are you confused about how to get pregnant or avoid getting pregnant? Below are the answers to the top conception myths.

Conception Myth - You can’t get pregnant the first time you have sex

Whether it’s the first time or the 50th time, if you are ovulating you can get pregnant.

 3. 3.

Conception Myth - You can’t get pregnant if you’ve never had a period. Ovulation occurs before your first period. Therefore, it is possible to get pregnant before you’ve even had a period. This also applies to women who have had a baby and are waiting for their period to return. Many women get caught off guard with another pregnancy because they assumed that they ovulate after their period returns.

 4. 4.

Conception Myth - You can’t get pregnant if you are too young Even though a young girl’s body may not able to handle the stress of pregnancy, she can still get pregnant if she has started ovulating.

 5. 5.

Conception Myth - You can’t get pregnant if you’re breastfeeding

Breastfeeding may delay the onset of ovulation and a period, but a woman can still get pregnant. Breastfeeding in its truest form, the way nature intended, can postpone ovulation for longer than 6 months. However, one of the key factors is that a baby needs to be exclusively breastfeeding without any other food or drink or pacifying with a soother. This method is called the Lactational Amenorrhea Method (LAM) and it can be 98% to 99% effective if used properly. Remember: the egg is released prior to the visual sign of a period.

 6. 6.

Conception Myth - If penetration only occurs for a few seconds, you can’t get pregnant

If you’re ovulating, any direct contact between a penis and vaginal area increases the chances of getting pregnant even if there was no ejaculation. If a man uses the “withdrawal method,” a woman can still get pregnant from the pre-ejaculation sperm (the liquid that seeps out of the penis prior to ejaculation).

 7. 7.

Conception Myth - You won’t get pregnant if you have sex while during your period

Sperm can live from 3 to 5 days. If you have short cycle and ovulate shortly after your period, the sperm can already be waiting for the egg.

 8. 8.

Conception Myth - You won’t get pregnant if you go to the bathroom immediately after sex

If you have sex during the infertile phase, the sperm will die inside the vagina after a few hours because the environment is not conducive for the sperm. However, if you are in the fertile phase, the cervical fluid acts as a “super highway” to help the sperm quickly get to the egg. Trying to flush out the sperm after sex when you’re in your fertile phase will not do any good.

 9. 9.

Conception Myth - You can’t get pregnant if you have sex standing up If a woman is in her fertile phase, it doesn’t matter what position she is in. The cervical fluid binds to the sperm and is designed to help the sperm get to its destination.

 10. 10.

Conception Myth - You won’t get pregnant if you have sex in water You can still get pregnant if you have sex in water if there is penetration, ejaculation and ovulation.
