Wind energy is an indirect form of solar energy as it occurs as a result of the kinetic energy of wind and this is the effect of differences in temperature and pressure of the atmosphere caused by solar radiation. Wind power is beginning to be used to produce electricity during the last century but always applied to facilities primarily small and subsistence-oriented. The search for alternatives to conventional energy model did in the nineties, that wind energy will be important for its environmental benefits. This technology has been developed since then by this type of energy, to demonstrate its viability in economic terms and has been reaffirmed as energy future.
