      • N ot too narrow (Is there enough to write about?)
      • N ot too broad (general). There will be too many ideas for one paragraph. Most paragraphs are between 5 and 10 sentences long.

      • B rainstorming
      • A way of gathering ideas about the topic .
      • D on’t worry about whether your ideas are good or bad, useful or not. You can decide later on. Gather as many ideas as you can.

      • W rite down single words, phrases, or sentences that are connected to the topic.
      • What should I study at college?

      • I like reading -literature?
      • Etc.

      • Write down whatever comes into your head. It shouldn’t take more than 5 to 10 minutes. Don’t worry about accuracy (grammar and spelling).

      • there are too so many subjects to study at college, it is difficult to choose one. I’ve always had good marks in maths but I don’t like it. physics I don’t like either. -- I’ve always liked writing. It’s hard to make mony with writing.

      • A fter you’ve gathered plenty of ideas, you need to edit them.
      • C hoose the ideas that are most relevant to your topic.
      • C ross out what you don’t need.
