  • 1. Instructions on how to compile your document without losing the page numbering Office word 2007

    • Step 1
    • Click on the top of your main document and make a page break (next page)
  • 3.
    • Step 2
    • Double click the page number to enter into header menu and uncheck “link to previous”
  • 4.
    • Step 3
    • On the previous empty page (also numbered page 1)
    • Either delete the number or change the numbering scheme (ie roman numerals).
    • And your done !
  • 5.
    • Extra – portrait & landscape pages in one document
    • Using the same page break function and unchecking the “link to previous” will allow for more than one section ( each one with a page orientation of its own
