    What do we use to see?
    Eyes
    What can you see right now?

    Books
  • Hearing
    What do we use to hear?
    Ears
    Listen and tell me what you hear.
  • Touch
    What do we use to touch?
    Our hands and feet.
    The sense of touch allows us to feel the objects around us.
    We can use touch to figure out shapes, textures and sizes of objects
  • Smell
    What do we use to smell?
    Nose
    You can either smell things that are:
    Good
    Bad
    What are some smells that are good and bad?
  • Taste
    What do we use to taste?
    Our Tongue
    Four Familiar Taste:
    Sweet Cookies
    Sour Lemons
    Salty Crackers
    Bitter Fruit Peels
  • Senses
    What’s interesting about senses is that sometimes
    you can use just one, but other times you could use two at once or sometimes all of them!
    Example:
    -When your eating you can taste the food, see the food, smell the food and sometimes even touch the food.
    -If were a train you can see it and hear it or even touch it.

    What sense allows you to look atthis picture?
    What sense allows you to feel shapes, textures and objects?

    What sense allows you to use your nose?
    What sense allows you to decide if something is sweet or sour?
  • Outside on a Sunny Day
    See the sun, flowers, green grass, blue sky.
    Hear the birds, wind or other people
    Touch the grass or flowers
    Smell the outdoors or flowers
  • An Orange
    Smell the Citrus
    Touch the orange and feel its texture
    See the orange and it color
    Taste it
