  1. 1. Making “Snot” Materials: glue, borax, hot water, cold water, red cups, clear cups, measuring cups, teaspoons, stir sticks, dishpans
  2. 2. Glue for “Snot”
  3. 3. This activity was led by Stan Melby.
  4. 4. Our Group Members
  5. 5. Red cup of water, stir stick, and glue go inside dishpan.
  6. 6. Glue and Water Mixture
  7. 7. Add 2 t. of borax to hot water.
  8. 8. Stir in a drop of food coloring.
  9. 9. Get ready to create the “snot”!
  10. 10. Stir the colored mixture into the glue mixture.
  11. 11. Pour it into the dishpan and work it with your hands.
  12. 12. Squeeze the liquid out until it feels just right.
  13. 13. Fun and Messy!
  14. 14. Stretchy “Snot”
  15. 15. Do not eat your “snot”.
  16. 16. Bag your “snot” in a sealable sandwich bag.
  17. 17. Clean up the table and dishpans.
