Reading out your Slides Try not to read out the text on your slides. Something you’ll find is that the audience will generally be able to read the text much more quickly than you can say it out loud. Apparently most audiences find it very irritating and just wish the speaker would shut up.

For example placing a huge block of text onto a slide to the point where it no longer fits onto the slide you’re presenting can be a disastrous thing to do. Some people tend to cram as much onto a slide as they can - it’s generally not a good idea though try and keep it succinct
