    Notes on slide 1

Summary: I installed three of the most popular OSCMSs on my computer using XAMPP. I compared them based on how easy each one was to install on XAMPP. Report Card: Drupal: D Joomla: A WordPress: B Definitions: Generically, open source refers to a program in which the source code is available to the general public for use and/or modification from its original design free of charge, i.e., open. (Source: Webopedia) A content management system is software that keeps track of every piece of content on your Web site, much like your local public library keeps track of books and stores them.
