Pourquoi est ce si compliqué ?
Lorsque vous avez 2000 serveurs pour un site web, ils agissent
comme 2000 machines individuelles. Il suffit de les empiler
(en simplifiant).
Dans le HPC, les 2000 machines ne doivent être vues que
comme une seule machine, capable de faire un calcul
unique.

Les autres seront des
« esclaves », sous le contrôle
du maitre.
Installer linux sur le maitre,
en general
redhat/fedora/centos, mais
d’autres distributions
marchent aussi pour cette
utilisation.

très complexe a grande échelle
