  2. 2.  In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Amen<br />October is the Month of the Holy Rosary<br />In the Rosary we pray with Mary<br />As we repeat the Hail Mary we enter in to the life of Jesus<br />We focus on ‘mysteries’ in the life of Christ<br />
  3. 3. Each set of 10 ‘Hail Mary’s (‘decade’) helps us think and pray about something of the life of Jesus<br />One set of ‘Mysteries’ is the ‘Mysteries of light’<br />
  4. 4. Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. <br />Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.And lead us not into temptation,but deliver us from evil. Amen.<br />

Jesus took Peter, John, and James and went up a mountain to pray.While he was praying his face changed in appearance and his clothing became dazzling white.And behold, two men were conversing with him, Moses and Elijah, who appeared in glory and spoke of what he was going to accomplish in Jerusalem.<br />Peter and his companions had been overcome by sleep, but becoming fully awake, they saw his glory and the two men standing with him.As they were about to part from him, Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is good that we are here; let us make three tents,one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”But he did not know what he was saying.While he was still speaking, a cloud came and cast a shadow over them,and they became frightened when they entered the cloud.Then from the cloud came a voice that said, “This is my chosen Son; listen to him.”<br />
  6. 6. HAIL MARY, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. <br />Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death. Amen.<br />
