I am 43 years old. I useD to be a lawyer, and I also useD to be a middle school teacher in the New York City Public Schools. Now I write books for kids and teens. I get to travel around the country, visit schools and talk to students about books and writing. Oh, I also created a non-profit service organization called The NOLA Tree.
