  • 1. Why do I need a Boston Public Library eCard?
  • 2.
    • BPL e Cards are virtual library cards that allow users immediate remote access to all of the Boston Public Library's electronic resources, including magazine databases, downloadable audio, video and music.
    • The BPL offers a wealth of resources that are not available through our local public libraries or library networks.
    What is an eCard??
  • 3.   A significant part of the BPL’s operating budget is provided through your state taxes. As a result…. “ Any individual who lives, works, attends school, or owns property in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is at least 13 years of age may register for an e Card. “ Who is eligible for an e Card?
