IS FOR BETTER SERVICE'S PROFESSIONALISM
AT LAKESLA (INDONESIA NAVAL MEDICAL INSTITUTION)
ABSTRACT
Professionalism of hyperbaric oxigen treatment in chamber at Drs.
Med. R. Riyadi S, Phys Indonesian Naval Medical Institution (Lakesla)
Surabaya is multifactorial, including attendant personnel building. In this
paper, study of personnel buiding was high pressure compartement develop,
take care of patient, and personnel list which take from secondary collected.
Feed back from patient as subjective impressions was investigated by
questionnaire as primary data.
Twenty four attendants personnel had discribed, based on recruiting
(18 military, 6 navy civilian), sex (16 male, 8 female), age (youngest 29 years,
oldest 51 years, mean 42.125, modus based on classified distribution was
35-39 years with 10 peoples), education (23 nurse high school degree, 1
bachelor degree), mean to get in chamber was 3-4 times each week, 2 hours
per session. Repititive time was more than 24 hours. Data from thirty patients
as feed back had discribed based on type (10 military, 20 public), sex (18
male, 12 female), mean of age was 46.5 years, frequency to get in chamber
(22 peoples had more than 10 times, 8 peoples had less equal than 10
times). Subjective impressions from 28 patients was good ( 93,3%), 22
patients felt comfortable (76,7 %), satisfied level analysis was good.
Conclusion : A good attendant personnel building influences treatment
in chamber. Improvement of facility developing and personnel building are
necessary. Additional for further study with more sample and time for
investigation.
