There are 2 ways to resize a file:
1. Before uploading it (good!)
2. After uploading it (bad!)
Let’s break it down…

1. Resize before uploading it (good!)
Open “me.jpg” in iPhoto (let’s say it’s 4MB)
Resize it (this cuts it down to .5MB)
Upload it to Brand-Yourself.com
Insert it into your website
Viewers to your site only have to download .5MB -
not 4MB - when they visit your page
You only use .5MB - not 4MB - of your storage
