  • This is 1 more example. Say these are 2 different individual students. They are not related to each other but they both have a common situation. Ajay is doing MCA and Nisha is already into MBA – fist year. But both of them feel they need an ‘EXTRA’ qualifications in this competitive world. They wish to study some course that can bring reputed name in their CV but then their current studies does not allow to do any additional full time course. (NOW PRESS ENTER) Both of them – Ajay and Nisha are having a problem of ‘What to do now?’ (PRESS ENTER FOR NEXT SLIDE)
  • She is Mona. An MBA 2003 passed out from a reputed MBA school of Gujarat. She is having a 4 years of work experience. She is intelligent, hardworking but her entire work experience is in Business Development and Marketing area while her MBA is in Finance. You know sometimes some people have this concern. Their degrees are in different area and their work experience is in different area. This is not wrong at all. Well now Mona is currently working with an MNC Bank in Ahmedabad and draws CTC (salary) of Rs. 4 lakhs per annum. She got an international opportunity for promotion – a transfer in the Bank’s branch in London in January 2007. But she missed this opportunity! WHY? Her boss said ‘So sorry Mona! You are an MBA Finance and we are looking for someone who is an MBA Marketing!!!’ (NOW PRESS ENTER) ‘ What to do now?’ is the big bang frustration for our Mona. (PRESS ENTER FOR NEXT SLIDE)
  • He is Rahul Sharma. He is a BSC and Diploma in IT. He has got 8 years of work experience in Electronics & FMCG sector mainly in Sales & Marketing. Has worked for really reputed companies in India. He got 1 promotion in 2001 and then 1 more in 2004 But now his career is on halt. In last year of promotion he was not promoted. His boss says ‘Sorry Rahul but you don’t have any management qualification’. (NOW PRESS ENTER) Rahul is obviously disturbed and is really worried and thinking ‘What to do now?’ (GIVE EMPHASISE ON ‘WHAT TO DO NOW’?) (PRESS ENTER FOR NEXT SLIDE)
  • Our Dineshbhai is a businessman based in Ahmedabad with Valve manufacturing factory in Vatva and his business is having a turnover of Rs. 3 crore. He started his business when he was 17 years old and just finished his BA – History. Later on he never got time to study since he had a lot of family responsibilities. Now he is 42 years old and he has to read a lot and travel to foreign country as well to develop his business. He is facing a difficulty in dealing with his clients abroad. Also now he wants to take his business to next level. He feels perhaps he missed doing an MBA! (NOW PRESS ENTER) Dineshbhai is pondering as to how can he take his business to the next level? ‘What to do now?’ is the main concern for him. (PRESS ENTER FOR NEXT SLIDE)
  • Here is Meenaben Shah who is a BCom in 1992 and a mother of 2 lovely children. She did a good job as Receptionist and then Travel Desk Officer in a Hotel from 1992 to 1995. Then married in 1995 and left job due to family responsibilities. Have 2 kids now and both of them are now growing well. Now she wants to do job again. Her husband – Pareshbhai Shah says ‘Don’t do job of Travel Desk Officer. If you want to do a job, then do a good admin kind of job’. When she is contacting companies for getting job, she is not getting a good admin kind of job and she is told by people that ‘But just BCom is not enough!’. (NOW PRESS ENTER) So Meenaben’s biggest tension today is ‘What to do now?’ (PRESS ENTER FOR NEXT SLIDE)
  • ‘ What are my goals?’ Do we want to have a good quality of job? Do we want very high Salary? Do we want PERKS like air flight travelling, laptop, mobile phone, etc.? What do we want? (PRESS ENTER FOR NEXT SLIDE)
  • So friends and colleagues, tell me ‘WHAT TO DO NOW?’ (TAKE A PAUSE. LOOK AT THE AUDIENCE AND ASK PEOPLE. WAIT FOR THEIR REPLIES. LET THEM RESPOND THE WAY THEY WANT TO FOR A A FEW SECONDS. NOD HEAD IN AGREEMENT. SAY A FEW WORDS TO SUPPORT THEIR VIEWS BY SAYING ‘YES GOOD IDEA’, ‘YES YOU ARE RIGHT’, ‘YES THAT CAN BE A GOOD SOLUTION’) Tell me friends frankly, let us be all frank with each other. Don’t forget that we all are friends and colleagues. Please don’t hesitate. Please be free and frank for the question that I am going to ask you now: ‘ How many of you are in any 1 of the situation that is faced by Rahul, Mona, Dineshbhai, Meenaben, Ajay & Nisha? (TAKE A PAUSE. LOOK AT THE AUDIENCE THEY MAY OR MAY NOT RAISE THEIR HANDS. IF REQUIRED SAY AGAIN ‘PLEASE BE FREE AND FRANK’) Good. So friends this is very common situation among all of us. Many of us have done great things in life, are really working very hard in our jobs, business, studies and social life. But we all want to grow in life and something is stopping us. Especially perhaps due to our life’s circumstances we could not acquire some higher education qualification. And so we are stagnant now just because we do not have a good degree. So tell me how to solve this problem? (TAKE A PAUSE. LOOK AT THE AUDIENCE AND ASK PEOPLE. WAIT FOR THEIR REPLIES. LET THEM RESPOND THE WAY THEY WANT TO FOR A FEW SECONDS. NOD HEAD IN AGREEMENT. SAY A FEW WORDS TO SUPPORT THEIR VIEWS BY SAYING ‘YES GOOD IDEA’, ‘YES YOU ARE RIGHT’, ‘YES THAT CAN BE A GOOD SOLUTION’) Well, friends the core issue is to look at the solution. In fact, in today’s presentation we are talking about ‘What can I do today for my better tomorrow’? Which is basically finding solution for our bright future. So What is the solution? (NOW PRESS ENTER ONLY ONCE. ALL THE TEXTS ARE WITH AUTO TIMER OF 2 SECONDS) Well the solution is very simple. All what we need is a higher education qualification – like a good quality Diploma or may be PG Diploma – which is basically an MBA. A Higher Education Qualification from a good quality institute with affordable fee, and taught by reputed professors with possibility of campus placements (PRESS ENTER FOR NEXT SLIDE)
  • As you know this solution sounds simple. But the real question is how to implement this? Because even if we like this solution we cannot implement it so easily, because there are many ‘CANNOTs’ for us. But I cannot….. (LOOK AT THE SLIDE AND READ OUT ONE BY ONE) Is this correct? How many of you feel that the solution is simple but we cannot implement it because of these ‘CANNOTs’? Please raise your hands… (TAKE A PAUSE. LOOK AT THE AUDIENCE AND SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE RAISED THEIR HANDS.) Friends this is what precisely we need to address here. Now there shall be no ‘CANNOTs’ to implement this solution. For the first time in Ahmedabad and Gujarat this new thing is coming. Now we can really really do something TODAY for our BETTER tomorrow. Now let us see what is this - (PRESS ENTER FOR NEXT SLIDE)
