Have your front end servers (WFEs) also act as query servers and have an application server(s) perform indexing functions.• Be mindful of search database size, if you are going to index file systems, Lotus Notes, or other external content.• Place search on separate storage if available to ensure optimal performance.• Review search error logs (Central Administration) periodically to ensure content is crawled successfully. 14
