  • When appropriate to the design, placing the photo credit below the image is best practice. However, some images may span an entire screen and the addition of the credit may be a visual disruption to the impact of the slide. Use good judgment and be sure the author/creator is credited in the presentation, such as at the end in a works cited.
  • I modified the MLA format for digital files, making sure to place the source of the digital image into the reference (the web link). I also added a thumbnail of the original image to help the viewer identify the photo with the credited author or creator.
