RECEIVE INFORMATION AT OUR OPEN-HOUSE, A 4-HOUR INTRODUCTION TO MASSAGE WORKSHOP AND A 50-MINUTE MASSAGE AT OUR MASSAGE THERAPY CENTER, ALL FOR JUST $25! ($90 VALUE)
We encourage all of our potential students to experience massage therapy before they enroll whenever possible, and this is a perfect way to facilitate your massage experience without any cost to you, whatsoever. It is also a wonderful way to experience, first-hand, the quality of massage therapy education you will be receiving and be able to ask our current students a question or two while you are there.
This wonderful event combines informative presentations, a tour of our beautiful campus and an exciting opportunity to "Be A Student for A Day" during our Introduction to Massage workshop!
Career Day begins at 10AM. Enjoy the morning at our exciting Downtown Asheville campus. This portion of our event includes a campus tour and information on massage therapy as a career. You will receive information about how to enroll in our COMTA Accredited Massage School Program, the Federal Financial Aid process and other financial options, learn about available scholarships, educational tax credits and so much more.
After a lunch break where you can experience one of the many wonderful eateries in our Pack Square Cultural District, our Career Day Event continues with our dynamic Introduction to Massage Therapy workshop from 1-5PM. This time is dedicated to hands-on instruction and demonstrating our Massage School Program experience. This workshop introduces you to simple, everyday massage techniques, enabling you to perform basic Swedish massage methods among friends and family. Previous massage or bodywork experience is not required.
*Your Massage Therapy Voucher will be presented to you at the end of the day. Please call (828) 252-0058 to set up your appointment after you receive your Voucher. Vouchers cannot be transferred, have no cash value and can only be used by the person it was issued to. Vouchers are valid for 30 days from date of issue.
You will need the following:
Short fingernails, filed and buffed
Twin sheet set with extra pillow case
A blanket
Wear comfortable, layered clothing that allows for movement
All equipment and other supplies are provided by the Center for Massage & Natural Health.
Space is limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Must be 18 to attend.
