    • SR-710 STUDY UPDATE SEPTEMBER 18, 2013 City of South Pasadena
    • No Build • This option would have no effect on South Pasadena in terms of the SR-710 • The term no build refers to the SR-710 project, but other projects in this scenario would still be built (e.g. Gold Line Foothill Extension).
    • Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)
    • Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) There would be a significant effect on local businesses with the removal of on-street parking, elimination of bulbouts on Fair Oaks Ave
    • Light Rail Transit (LRT)
    • Light Rail Transit (LRT) The City would have 2 stations one near Huntington Drive/Fremont Ave and the other Mission St/Fair Oaks Ave. The entire segment would be underground. Construction impacts and business interruption and/or relocation
    • Light Rail Transit (LRT)
    • TDM/TSM In the City: • There would be 5 intersection improvements • 2 Local Street Improvements • The Fair Oaks/SR-110 Improvement Project (Hook and off Ramp) is included
    • TDM/TSM “Consists of strategies and improvements to increase efficiency and capacity for all modes in the transportation system with lower capital cost investments and/or lower potential impacts.” Transportation Demand Management/ Transportation System Management Recent addition of “reversible lanes,” between Grevalia and Monterey, would have a significant impact to South Pasadena. The center median would be removed and converted into a travel lane whereby depending on traffic patters would function as a 3rd travel lane…
