  • 2. What is it? What can I do here? If I’m your ideal customer, why should I buy from you?
  • 3. Is this a value proposition?
  • 4. Or this?
  • 5. Or this? I’m confused
  • 6. Sliders are terrible for value propositions. Or most things. Don’t do it without testing against static value propositions.
  • 7. So where is the value proposition, and what’s the offer? Am I supposed to get my loupe out and read these?
  • 8. Is this a value proposition? What does #1 mean and according to whom?
  • 9. These are good
  • 10. This seems promising, but looks like a banner
  • 11. Why shop here? Are you competing on price?
  • 12. Is this based on a ton of voice of the customer research? Lacks clarity and benefit
  • 13. Simplify! How about “Tell restaurants where to improve, get rewards.”
  • 14. Value proposition is an offer. You don’t have one really!
  • 15. Meaningless buzzwords won’t make you look smarter. How about talking like real people?
  • 16. Jargon alert! What does it actually mean? How would you say this to your mother?
  • 17. Visuals are part of the offer. Ditch the steam cleaning lady, add authenticity.
  • 18. And most importantly – where is the offer? Anyone seen a reason given for signing up? And signing up for what exactly? Clarity ftw!
