Biblical Creationist Theory

 1. 1. By: Amanda Dabney
 2. 2. What is this?

This theory states that the Earth was created by God as explained in the book of Genesis

 3. 3. Science Compared to Religion

Scientist are only out to prove the facts

In Religion or faith- you are their because you put your whole heart into what you are believing, you do not care if some of the orders of thing is not what you would think they would be, but somewhere inside of yourself you just know that what you are believing is true

 4. 4. Genesis Explained

In this God says that it took him seven days to create the Earth

Day 1: creation of light and its separation from darkness.

Day 2: separation of the sky and oceans.

Day 3: separation of land from the oceans; spreading of plants and grass and trees across the land.

Day 4: Creation of the sun, moon, and stars.

Day 5: Creation of sea animals and birds.

Day 6: Creation of the land animals. Creation of humanity

Day 7: God rested.

 5. 5. Bible/ Evolutionists

The first day says that god created light, and that light happened before the sun or stars was created.

Evolutionist would say that this is something that proves the creationist theory is not plausible

If one is a believer in this theory a possible argument would be that God was the light because several times in the bible he is referred to as the light of the world

 6. 6. Proof

Genesis is written from the facts

If God were to lie about this that would mean that the whole bible is not true

This theory is mostly based off of your religion

Those who have a faith believe and trust in the bible but those who don’t come up with these other theories

 8. 8. By: Amanda Dabney
 9. 9. What is This?

Billions of years ago the universe came into existence

Photons that created particles and antiparticles all started to collide

Causing the expansion of the gas and the heat to move outward from a dense and very small hot ball

 10. 10. Expanding and Particles

Eventually it kept expanding and cooling which is happening today as well

As the universe cooled the particles energy slowed down and the eventually were able to combine and form matter

This theory says that with this reactions and all of the photons that is why the Earth keeps on slowly expanding

 11. 11. Continued

Expansion of the universe is happening because the empty space between the “spacetime” is expanding because the light from the distant galaxies is stretched by the amount that space expands while the light is en route to us

As the universe expanded and cooled, so the process of matter building began that led to the formation of stars, planets, and galaxies. The process began with the simplest element, hydrogen, then helium, and then eventually onto more complex elements.

 12. 12. Evidence

There is evidence of large amounts of radiation remains in the universe, some believe that this is left over remains of the Big Bang when the fireball expanded and now things are cooling down

 14. 14. By: Amanda Dabney
 15. 15. Basic Thought

All life is related and has descended from a common ancestor: the birds and the bananas, the fishes and the flowers -- all related

Darwin's general theory presumes the development of life from non-life and stresses a purely naturalistic (undirected) "descent with modification“

Random genetic mutations occur within an organism's genetic code

 16. 16. Information

The main thought of this whole idea is that we are derived from apes, and over millions of years we eventually evolved into the humans, because small mutations continued to occur

 17. 17. Natural Selection

This process is just widely known as Natural Selection

Definition: gene frequencies in a population change through certain individuals producing more descendants than others because they are better able to survive and reproduce in their environment

 18. 18. Evidence

Fossils- When fossils are arranged in the order of their age, a continual series of change is seen, new changes being added at each stage.

Anatomical Record- When anatomical features of living animals are examined, evidence of shared ancestry is often apparent.
