  • 1. Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
  • 2. Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you are good, O LORD.
  • 3. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing.

  • 6. Cause & Effect Action & Reaction Something done in our past may have a “ripple effect” throughout the remainder of our lives. There are consequences attached to all that we do.
  • 7. We will be known forever by the tracks we leave.
  • 8. The sins or victories of our youth establish patterns of behavior that influence us for the rest of our lives
  • 9. Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness 2 Tim. 2:22
  • 10. But Daniel resolved not to defile himself
  • 11. We have all “bitten into the apple” – all have sinned and fallen short However, we can still recover
