In today’s medical billing age, there are often so many errors, overcharges and misdirection, that many have found it necessary to hire someone on their behalf to simply decipher all the medical billing jargon.
If you are being overcharged, a great way to start understanding where this is taking place is to request an "Explanation of Benefits" from your provider in order to understand what exactly they are responsible for. There is a chance that your provider is not paying all they're responsible for.
