What is social media? How can I use it to be a more efficient stagemanager? How do I start harnessing its potential to find work? Covering basic concepts for some it will be a way to assess your knowledge competency and for others a way to start exploring social media from the ground up. Focus will be on mobile technology. There will be a practical element, keep your mobiles to hand. Social media is far more than Facebook and Twitter.

This session will explore the adoption and adaptation of social media amongst stagemanagers, You will share insights and perhaps pass on some useful stuff to help develop a series of skills and training workshops tailored for stage managers to be offered to SMA members later in 2012.
