  • 4. The Passover [looking forwards] [3] Exodus 12 5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male... 1 Peter 1 18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
  • 5. The Passover [looking forwards] [4] Exodus 12 6...Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it... John 18 31 Then Pilate said to them, “You take Him and judge Him according to your law.” Therefore the Jews said to him, “It is not lawful for us to put anyone to death,” ...38 Pilate said...39 “But you have a custom that I should release someone to you at the Passover. Do you therefore want me to release to you the King of the Jews?” 40 Then they all cried again, saying, “Not this Man, but Barabbas!” Now Barabbas was a robber.
  • 6. The Passover [looking forwards] [5] Exodus 12 7 And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it....
