    Application Process:
    • Written application
    • 26. Staff review & notification to city within 30 days
    • 27. Grant agreement forwarded to city
    • 28. Execution of agreement:
    • 29. By RRB executive director/designee
    • 30. By city commission or city manager (authority may vary by city)
    • 31. Payout of funds to city within 30 days
    Reporting Process:
    • Progress report to staff (between May November, 2012
    • 32. Narrative
    • 33. Outcomes
    • 34. Expenses
    • 35. Final report May 1, 2013
    • 36. Cost information (Audit requirements):
    • 37. $5,000 - $499,999 = link to audited financial statements within 60 days
    • 38. > $500,000 = certified financial statements within 90 days

    Eligible:
    • Roll-out carts purchases (direct or through franchise hauler)
    • 40. For single-family and multifamily communities
    • 41. Program upgrades (e.g. incentive programs, public place recycling)
    • 42. Capital equipment (trucks, roll-offs, retrofits)
    • 43. Program outreach
    • 44. Professional services/reports related to increasing recycling
    Ineligible:
    • Garbage carts, receptacles, capital equipment, etc.
    • 45. Unrelated professional services
    • 46. Projects deemed inconsistent with goals & objectives
