    • The Earth by Paz de la Rosa 2013
    • There are 2 important movements that affect The Earth ROTATION: The earth moves arond its own axis. This movement takes 24 hours.
    • Thanks of rotation movement we've got day and night
    • REVOLUTION or TRANSLATION: The Earth moves around the Sun, it takes 365 days (one year).
    • The principal concequences of this movement are the seasons of the year: spring, summer, autumn and winter
    • The representation of The Earth Our planet has the form of a sphere. We can represent it with a globe Or a map. A cartographer is a person who creates maps.
    • The geographical coordinates We use imaginary lines to find any place on the Earth. People call these lines meridian and parallels.
    • MERIDIANS are vertical lines. The first meridian is called Greenwich. PARARELLELS are horizontal lines. The first parallels is called Equator.
