    1. Medical Malpractice Lawyer New York Mr. Bern, a Senior Partner in the firm, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (B.S., with distinction 1972) and from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1975. Mr. Bern is admitted to practice before the Courts of the States of Wisconsin (1975) and New York (1982). In addition to admissions to practice in the States of New York and Wisconsin, Mr. Bern is admitted to practice before the Federal District Courts in New York, Wisconsin, Arizona and many other jurisdictions.
    2. Practice Areas: Plaintiffs' catastrophic injury cases, Pharmaceutical Products Liability (DES, Diet Drugs [Fen-phen, Redux and Ephedra]), Rezulin and Baycol; Environmental and other Toxic Torts including MTBE gasoline contamination, Cresote, MGP(manufactured gas plants),PCB, and Mass Torts. Mr. Bern is Co-Liaison Counsel in the World Trade Center Disaster Litigation pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York); and sits on the Plaintiffs' Executive Committee of the MTBE Multi-District Litigation pending in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. He has also litigated gasoline royalties case(s) and securities claims.
