We observe a growing interest in brain-like computing. But can machines think like humans? We claim that on can get closer with the right approach --> Not semantic web and old AI BUT instance based learning on triple storage (key value and row).

We present an associative memory base that has semantics and statistics at the same time - a semantic graph with counts on the edges.

Structure of the talk:
History
Vannever Bush 1st, led to hypertext by Doug Englebart, and Semantic Web, but we need more!
Technology
Just in time learning, non-parametric statistics; stored in Saffron Memory Base as matrices to represent graph connections and counts.
Connecting the Dots
Query speed is key → evolution of search from doc rank to pang rank to entity rank.
Examples - London Bomber and predictive maintenance
Illuminating the dots
Automation of cognitive thinking; doing more cognitive work, leads to productivity growth --> enhancing transactional process
Intelligent Cloud
Old idea of intelligent agents in the cloud but brain is not virtualized. Magellan report shows HPC cannot be virtualized needs bare metal to be in real time (not batch) like our own brains.
