Editor's Notes
Thank you for attending today ’s webinar. Today we will be discussing Fidelity & Guaranty Life ’s two FIUL products. In this webinar we will discuss our company, product features, and past product performance
Lets get into more details about these two products…
Both products use the S&P 500 as there index choice Both use a Monthly Annual Point to Point Rest Both offer a 100 and 140% participation rate The the 140 works is if you get a 7% return your client will be credited 9.8% Both offer a 0% floor so your client has no downside risk with capped upside potential at 12 or 11% depending on your participation method The fixed accounts are currently at 5%
Product comparision COI banding of the Life Choice product what this means is that - the premium per $1,000 of coverage decreases as the amount of coverage purchased moves into the higher bands. Underwriting classes Key Features – Overloand protection – insures your client ’s policy will not lapse due to a large outstanding loan Life Choice – no per 1,000 charge which means better CASH ACCUMULATION! Variable loan rates….
We are currently offering a 12% cap on our 100% participation and 11% on the 140% participation – you do have an option to blend both participations REMEMBER WE OFFER a 0% GUARANTY SO YOUR CLIENT NEVER LOSES, THEY ONLY HAVE UPSIDE POTENTIONAL NO DOWNSIDE!!!
When to use each product The Life choice works well in a number of scenarios – we recommend using the Life-Choice for moderate target premium cases, and in continuous pay designs The Life elite product also works well in a number of scenarios – especially high target premiums, cases that will be max funded in short term pay design cases, that will be used for tax free retirement income.
The Fidelity & Guaranty Life advantage At Fidelity & Guaranty Life we offer many specialized tools to help the agent submit business, get business issued timely and GET PAID!
READ SLIDE
The program is easy to understand. We assign a “qualification level” which has historically been between $1 million in annuity production to $1.5 million in calendar year. Next, we define what a PAIR credit is worth. Typically, between $3,000 and $4,500. Meaning, If you as an agent wrote $1.2 mill in annuity production with us in 2010, we would have deposited $3,750 into your deferred comp plan. Let ’s take a deeper look at the power of PAIR. PAIR is going away – Power Agents is new term.
In order to qualify for PAIR we set a qualification threshold. In 2006, we defined that threshold as $1.4 million in Fidelity & Guaranty Life annuity production which would then give you one PAIR credit. These credits equal a specific dollar amount which is declared after the completion of the calendar year. In 2006, one credit equaled $4,000. Therefore, $4,000 was deposited into your deferred compensation plan. In 2006 . . . (read through slides year by year). In addition to the cumulative deposits of PAIR credits, there are also no cap on the amount of credits and agent can accumulate. In 2011, $1 mill in production equals 1 PAIR credit. If you do $2 mill, then you receive 2 PAIR credits. If you do $10 mill, then you receive 10 PAIR credits. In addition, we offer half credits, meaning in 2011, if you write $1.5 mill in business you will receive 1.5 PAIR credits. We designed this program to be easy to understand . . . and to complement our best producers. We want to reward you all for you consistent business.
