    • Do Web based technologies enhance professional practice?
In favour of the use of Web based technologies:
Point 1 instant access to Facebook data base with over 500 million users. Evidence to support this statement. There are many casting opportunities available on Facebook there are groups you can join with information on auditions and casting breakdowns, such as Debbie O’Brian who casts many Uk tours and Westend productions has a page. They have made this easily accessible to up and coming professionals you can gather information and instant updates at the click of a button! From my own experience I can say this tool has only had a positive effect on enhancing my professional practice.
    • How You Tube Enhances professional practice.
You tube allows you to instantly share and access video footage.
By having a showreel on you tube you can instantly sell yourself as a performer to casting agents.
You can also view potential employers work to give you an insight to what you are auditioning for.
