We caused death by PowerPoint<br />
Luckily we’ve moved on<br />
Back to the<br />21st Century<br />
First,<br />Break<br />All the<br />rules<br />
Ditch<br />the<br />bullet<br />points<br />today<br />
Use your own cool images if you have them, or use royalty free images<br />

  2. 2. Once upon a time, <br />a presentations programme was invented <br />and many saw it<br />And they saw that it was pretty good<br />
  3. 3. It was used by<br />High Flyers<br />Across the globe<br />Microsoft® Presents: PowerPoint for Presentations: A great piece of software: <br />Set to cause misery for decades by misuse and lack of imagination<br />
  4. 4. We were treated to graphs<br />And clip art<br />And meaningless tables<br />
  5. 5. And usually <br />with some<br />seriously <br />whizzy<br />animation<br />
  6. 6. It was all very 80s<br />
  7. 7. We went on courses in the 90s<br />We used default fonts (or even Comic Sans)<br />We overloaded on clipart<br />We had loads of bullet points on a slide<br />We animated everything<br />And committed the cardinal sin of reading off a slide<br />We had too much text in each point<br />We used the slide templates, same as everyone else did…<br />And we bored our audiences silly<br />Oh, and did I mention the backgrounds?<br />When you’ve seen one background you’ve seen them all really….<br />And we were still stuck in the times design forgot<br />
