The Business Unit3lesson

  1. 1. New products When a finished product is finally on the market, sales staff will need to know: • its functions • its features • its customer benefits • how it compares with competitors’ products
  2. 2. The E-cloth Welcome to a whole new way to clean. The original E-cloth System uses no chemicals at all. The cloths are made from millions of tiny, clever fibres which have such a good natural cleaning effect that only water is needed to clean absolutely everywhere. Once used the cloths may be washed time and time again and with correct use will last for years. The cloths may be used on all hard surfaces but are especially effective on glass, chrome and stainless steel.
  3. 3. Packaging Packaging is a key part in the product mix: • It attracts the buyer’s attention. • It advertises the benefits of the product inside the packaging. • It lists the contents. It protects the contents. • It contributes to convenience and ease-of-use.
  4. 5. Food packaging When you buy food, what are the most important packaging considerations for you? • Recycling • Design and look • Information about the product: source, content, sell-by date • Protection and security What kinds of packaging do you think are good or bad?
