Who are we?  Cye Travers  Cye Travers has been employed within various sectors of the red meat industry since 1996.  Former winner of the Australian Intercollegiate Meat Judging Competition. Cye  Meat & Livestock Australia's Value Based Marketing Manager as well as Meat Standards Australia Grading Assistant Manager up to 2001.  Cye has a large range of qualifications within the meat specification and product grading.  Forefront of farm management innovation, managing a large scale pastoral company, Chandler River Pastoral Company, for eight years (2001-2008).  Pfizer Animal Genetics heading up the major customer manager team to 2010  Cye was a former winner of the Royal Agricultural Society Rural Achiever of the Year and the “Young Achiever” award from the Beef Improvement Association of Australia.
  • 7. Who are we?  Patrick Hutchinson  Comprehensive understanding of the red meat supply chain. He knows the people and the organisations that shape the industry, who to talk to and how to talk to them, and understands the issues and the priorities of the different industry organisations.  Patrick worked on behalf of the meat processors, initiating negotiations with producers, agents, saleyards government and other industry bodies to address issues affecting meat processors at the Australian Meat Council (1998-2003)  At Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) (2003-2010) he was responsible for the creation, development and implementation of one of the world’s largest on farm certification programs, Australia's Livestock Production Assurance (LPA).  He also developed on farm quality systems, and worked with industry on major traceability and performance feedback.  Patrick was a former winner of the Royal Agricultural Society Rural Achiever of the Year and the “Young Achiever” award from the Beef Improvement Association of Australia.
