    8. 8. <ul><li>Lead statistician </li></ul><ul><li>C oordinates all project responsibilities for the statistics group, and serves as the key statistical point person </li></ul><ul><li>Faculty statistician </li></ul><ul><li>Provides high-level thought leadership on design and analysis issues as well as DCRI SOP-required review and approval of analysis plans, specifications, and output </li></ul><ul><li>Statistical programmers </li></ul><ul><li>Program and validate analysis datasets and statistical output, and perform data transfers </li></ul>Clinical Trials Biostatistics Team

    10. 10. What You Can Do Now <ul><li>Seek opportunities to work with researchers on analysis projects. Practical experience while you are in school is valuable! </li></ul><ul><li>Learn how to program – generous SAS programming experience can give you an edge </li></ul><ul><li>Focus on your people and language skills – technical abilities alone will not be enough to progress in a collaborative work environment </li></ul>
