  2. 2. Venice is a city in north Italy. You get to Venice from the mainland by the Liberty Bridge.
  3. 3. Inside the city there isn’t traffic. The public transportation is done by boats called “vaporettos”.
  4. 4. Piazza San Marco Napoleón Bonaparte said of this place was “the most beautiful room of Europe”. This place is the center of Venice.
  5. 5. The Piazza San Marco is the lowest place in Venice and when the water rises in flooded things first. The water runs down the drain into the Grand Canal, which is ideal when it rains, but when the tide rises, the canal water rises to the square drains.
