    • 51. MEMORICONS ! Memoricons are a simple yet innovative system of visual cues that prompt students to produce the phrases in the story .

      • When students turn from the first page…
    • 53. … to the second double spread… They have the challenge of remembering what the phrase on the first page was. I say “Hello!”
    • 54. This continues as they read … I say “Hello!” I write in my workbook.
    • 55. Until the last page… Then the challenge is to remember the whole story!

      • The audio program is on a CD which comes with the book sets. It consists of readings and original songs by Brian Cullen.
