  10. 10. Purpose of the Alliance The Alliance is a coalition of Partners in Service (PIS) of Red Cross working towards the fulfillment of the Red Cross mission to save lives and alleviate of human suffering.
  11. 11. <ul><li>Under the supervision, coordination, direction and control of Red Cross, the Alliance's objectives are: </li></ul><ul><li>To actively recruit, train, deploy and utilize empowered and trained Red Cross volunteers and certified blood donors within each partner's organization/community </li></ul><ul><li>To deliver the basic Red Cross services, through their embedded Red Cross empowered volunteers and certified blood donors, in their respective communities, adjacent communities & to members of the coalition </li></ul><ul><li>To help implement and support, whether through manpower, intellectual resources, assets, skills, or financial resources, the programs & services of Red Cross </li></ul><ul><li>To standardize operating systems, protocols & procedures among members of the coalition to ensure inter-operability </li></ul><ul><li>To promote the seamless exchange of information, ideas and best practices among coalition members to maximize collective effectiveness </li></ul>Objectives of The Alliance
