I am beautiful pearls…..

Rain speaks ….
All can hear …..

I am the sigh of the sea

How can we enjoy every drop of rain water?
Rain Water Harvesting is man’s method of saving every drop of rain water.
Rain in excess causes floods.
Rain is scarcity causes drought.
Rain Water Harvesting is the only solution to the problem.
Let us work on it. Follow the giudleness.

Rationale for choosing the project
To create awareness to conserve rain water.
Water is essential natural source for every living being in the world.
Rain is the main source of water.
To collect information on the rain water harvesting which is essential for life.

Aim of the Project To learn to refer books, journals, browse on websites and collect information . To present information in a simple and effective way. To collect information through field survey and field study. To make them analyse the problem and solve it. To make them infer the pictures and understand the concept. To make them use the idea of Rain water harvesting in their day to life which would lead to conservation of water. To make them understand their civic. responsibilities towards Nature.

No: of terrace / concrete roof houses : 1046
No: of houses letting the Rain Water to the ground: 409
No : of houses using RW for drinking Water and other purposes : 165
No of houses you think would take up RWH before the Next Monsoon : 374
No of houses not ready to implement RWH due to any reason : 537

Opinion / suggestions of the people :
Creating awareness among people on Rain Water is necessary.
We should make people aware of RWH and we should make proper use of water.
It is very useful and helpful . RWH can be used for watering of fields.
Those who don't have water pipe connection are implementing RWH.
Should be implemented in every houses and awareness should be created.
It should be implemented to every house by the government.
We can save the water which is very helpful for us

Expected Outcome by the next Monsoon
“ We should make people aware of RWH and we should make proper use of water”.
Students are planning for a propaganda in the locality by pasting posters and banners to create awareness.
More number of house can implement the project-RWH
