Ivory soap was P&G’s first product
One of the reasons that has been so successful is because it floats
It’s first slogan was “It floats!” introduced in 1981
It is 99 and 44/100% pure
Its unique antimicrobial activity makes it very powerful, better than any other type of soap
Products and Services, cont.
The idea for Pampers diapers was conceived in 1961 by Vic Mills, a grandfather searching for a easier way to diaper his grandchildren.
Cloth diapers were extremely messy, and cleaning them was labor intensive
Pampers diapers were specially designed to be more absorbent and disposable
Pampers has been a very successful Procter and Gamble product because of its convenience and it was also very inexpensive.
