  • 3. <ul><li>Entrepreneurship creates jobs and reduces unemployment. </li></ul><ul><li>Research suggests that entrepreneurship provides a positive contribution to economic growth. </li></ul><ul><li>Entrepreneurship can also play a positive role in delivering health, education and welfare </li></ul><ul><li>services. </li></ul>
  • 4. <ul><li>Europe ‘s lack of Entrepreneurship negatively impacts its economy. </li></ul><ul><li>Europe needs more new businesses in order to increase employment and improve economically. </li></ul>
  • 5. <ul><li>Compared to the US, there is less entrepreneurial development in the European Union. </li></ul><ul><li>Europeans are less involved than Americans in new entrepreneurial initiatives and European businesses do not grow as much as in the US. </li></ul>
  • 6. <ul><li>Some Europeans feel that there are too many risks involved when starting a new business or organization (Entrepreneurship) </li></ul><ul><li>The risks are… </li></ul><ul><li>Going bankrupt </li></ul><ul><li>Losing personal property </li></ul>
  • 7. <ul><li>Education and training should contribute to encouraging entrepreneurship, by fostering </li></ul><ul><li>the right mindset, awareness of career opportunities as an entrepreneur. </li></ul><ul><li>The more Europeans know about starting their own business, increases the likelihood of them becoming an entrepreneur. </li></ul>
  • 8. <ul><li>Although many people in Europe express a preference for being an entrepreneur, many lack the confidence and skills to turn their ambitions into action. </li></ul><ul><li>Young people should be exposed to entrepreneurship and be supported, along with their educational trainers, in developing entrepreneurship skills. </li></ul>
