  Exploration Task
         Draft 3
      Pamela Younes
Genre
What is purpose and general conventions?
 The purpose of genre, horror is too scare people by
 basing the film on something that would normally
 cause death.
 This would be the case as people would be normally
 scared of dying. This would lead to, horror films is to
 make people scared, terrified or even try and make
 people have nightmares after watching specific types
 of horror films.
Genre
The general conventions of the horror genre are..
  Dark lighting
  gore
  Isolated location chosen
  torture
Genre
Explain how/when genre was established, identify a few
classic films of the genre:
   the horror genre was established around 1896 this was
   taken in France.
   This genre emerged because when it was shot in one part
   of the world it has been past on so many different
   countries have been doing it the next country was Japan,
   then German then Hollywood until everyone has heard
   about it.
   when it reached Hollywood they decided to do horror
   drama.
Genre
           This has gore blood; this would fit the codes and convention of horror genre.
The bat

           This film has death of `Cyrus west’; this would also show codes and conventions
