    • Open urban channel M2HZ kicked off through experiments in 2005, regular weekly programs published on web+cable since 2008
    • Public access + social media – programs with and by artists, activists, community and multicultural groups
    • New initiative Stadi.TV builds a wider coalition of local channels in Helsinki since 2010

    • Media workshops to lower the threshold for media production and support the take-up of open source tools
    • Open media and Citizen reporter workshops for ngos and groups, and neighbourhood residents

    • Program slot for multicultural programmes at Stadi.TV since Spring 2011

    • Objective to provide news about Finnish society in minority languages - currently Russian, Arabic, French, Somali, Spanish
    • Citizen journalism approach: semi/non-professional anchors filter news and provide commentary from their individual and cultural point of view
    • Editorial collective to decide on monthly news selections
    • Serious issues lightened with humour and irony – in news remix animations
