  • Adjectives
    • An adjective is a word used to describe a noun or pronoun or to give a noun or pronoun a more specific meaning.
    • Adjectives answer the following questions:
    • What kind?
    • Which one?
    • How Many?
    • How Much?
  • Adjective Articles
    • Three adjectives - the, a, and an – are called articles.
    • The is the definite article, because it tells about a certain person place or thing.
    • A and an are called indefinite articles because they refer to any person, place, or thing.
  • ADVERBS
    • An adverb is a word that modifies the verb, an adjective, or another adverb.
    • An adverb modifying a verb answers the questions:
    • Where?
    • When?
    • In what way?
    • How?
    • And to what extent?
  • When Do You use an adjective and when do you use an adverb
    • When do you use an adjective?
    • In a noun
    • And in a pronoun
    • When do you use an adverb?
    • An action verb
    • And in an adjective
