  • 3. Corporate Sponsorship
    • Habitat relies on Corporate sponsorships
    • The York Habitat for Humanity Corporate Sponsorship Program challenges corporations to work with us to ensure that all people have decent, affordable shelter. Corporate partnerships address the problem of poverty housing, and the lack of affordable low-income housing, providing a positive solution and offering a wealth of benefits to corporations. These include tax deductions, high visibility pubic relations and a permanent positive effect on company employee relations.

    • Partnerships with York Habitat come in many different forms as the corporations that support :
        • Employee matching funds
        • Product donations
        • Financial support
        • Grants and awards programs
        • Public awareness
    • Corporate Team Building Days
        • A day of building, bonding and team building
    • Adopt a newsletter
        • Help us to defer postage and printing cost of our newsletter
    • Cars for Homes
        • Our program to recycle unwanted cars, trucks, and SUV’s for cash
  • 5. Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities
    • NAMED BUILD PARTNERSHIP— Minimum Gift of $75,000 (3 or 5 year planned giving available for named builds)
    • All news releases & communications refer to the named partner. Ie: The [organization’s name here] House
    • Permanent plaque on home at completion in recognition of the named partner.
    • Temporary signage, as permissible, at the construction site recognizing the named partner.
    • Feature article in Habitat’s quarterly newsletter about the named build.
    • First opportunity to schedule an unlimited number of volunteers on the build calendar.
    • Positive team building opportunities for your employees.
    • Positive organizational PR. Public sees your organization’s employees & dollars at work making a difference in the community
    • Invitation to speak and verbal recognition at the groundbreaking ceremony and home dedication.
    • Luncheon presentation to the organization’s staff by the future home owner to share their story & express their gratitude.
    • Logo and story about the named build on Habitat’s new website.
    • Recognition in Habitat’s monthly email to all stakeholders.
    • Invitation to attend a public “Muddy Boots Tour” of the named build while under construction.
