Who Is
Steve
Linder?
I’m a baby boomer like many of you
I grew Up in Cambridge, Massachusetts
I moved to Key West, Florida in
1999
Then came 5 years of active Hurricanes
I needed a Plan B
By the time I’d moved to Florida
I realized I could live anywhere
I was watching our government devalue my life savings by
printing money to pay off our huge foreign debt
So my wife and I started looking around the
globe
For other living options
Costa Rica seemed to offer the
least risk for the highest reward
Costa Rica?

Costa Rica is in Central America between Nicaragua and Panama
It’s about the size of West Virginia
Costa Rica is less than a 2 ½ hour direct flight
from Miami. Nearly every airline flies there daily.
Costa Rica is situated below
the hurricane belt
Home to 4.2 million residents
It’s also home to 100,000 foreigners
Including more than 50,000 North Americans
Tap water is safe to drink in Costa Rica
The country contains more than 100 types of
ferns, 1,000 orchards and 2000 kinds of trees.
27% of the country is national park or protected land

Tourism is the #1 source of income
Costa Rica is home to a dizzying array of fauna.
