  • 5. Avoid wrongways He who oppresses the poor to increase his riches, and he who gives to the rich, will surely come to poverty. Proverbs. 22:16
  • 6. Need a plan, no hasty short cutsThe plans of the diligent lead surely toplenty, but everyone who is hasty, surelyto poverty. Proverbs. 21:5
  • 7. Look afteryour assets Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, and attend to your herds. Proverbs 27:23
  • 8. Additionallabor needscareandhasmess Where no oxen are, the trough is clean; but much increase comes by the strength of an ox. Proverbs 14:4
  • 9. Do not overworkDo not to be rich; becauseoverwork of your own understanding,to cease!get Will you set your eyes on that whichrich is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away like an eagle toward heaven. Proverbs 23:4-5
  • 10. Don’t quitwhen thegoing getstough If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small. Proverbs 24:10
  • 11. Get counsel then set Without counsel, plans go awry*, but in the multitude of counselors they are plans established. Proverbs 15:22Listen to counsel and receiveinstruction, that you may be wisein your latter days. Proverbs 19:20 Plans are established by counsel. Proverbs 20:18 *awry = Away from the appropriate, planned, or expected course
  • 12. Getknowledge,don’t behasty It is not good a soul to be without knowledge, and he sins who hastens with his feet. Proverbs 19:2
  • 13. Take care A prudent man forsees evil and hides himself; the simple pass on and are punished. Proverbs 22:3 & 27:12
  • 14. Borrowingmakes youa slave The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. Proverbs 22:7
  • 15. Givinggivesyouspace A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men. Proverbs 18:16
  • 16. Reputationtrumpsriches A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, loving favor rather than silver and gold. Proverbs 22.1
  • 17. Give 10%to God Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine. Proverbs 3:9-10
  • 18. Value truth Buy the truth, and do not sell it, also wisdom and instruction and understanding. Proverbs 23:23
  • 19. Seek Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gainsWisdom understanding for her proceeds are better than the profits ofmore than silver,and her gain than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies,Wealth and all the things you may desire cannot compare with her. Length of days is in her right hand, in her left hand riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. Wisdom is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, and happy are all who retain her. Proverbs 3:13-18
