  2. 2. Early Life <ul><li>Perou was born in Newick, a small village in East Sussex, England </li></ul><ul><li>He went to primary school at Newick Church of England school and completed secondary school at Chailey and Haywards Heath Sixth form. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Later on <ul><li>When Perou finished his A-levels in Religious Studies and Design he considered a career as a long distance lorry driver or a missionary but when he had a taste of work as a butler he completed a BTEC OND in Design Photography at North East Surrey Collage of Technology </li></ul><ul><li>Between 1991-1994 Perou studied for a BA Hons degree in Photography, Film and Video Arts at the University of Westminster </li></ul>
  4. 4. Professional Career <ul><li>After he graduated in 1994 he worked at Click Studios in London as a studio manager where he met top leading photographers of the time and people that worked behind Dazed & Confused magazine. </li></ul>
  5. 5. <ul><li>During his time at Click Studios Perou learned photography professionally. </li></ul><ul><li>He started shooting for editional clients like Skin Two which a fetish magazine </li></ul><ul><li>He also started shooting bands and did work with friends in a band called Elcka </li></ul><ul><li>In 1995, Perou moved to the same place as where Dazed & Confused were functioning </li></ul><ul><li>Perou started working on the picture desk with the photographic director, Phil Poynter. </li></ul>
  6. 6. <ul><li>Perou continued to shoot for magazines and record companies and left Dazed & Confused around 1997 </li></ul><ul><li>He was featured in a magazine and became known as a fetish photographer through his early work </li></ul><ul><li>In 2000 he opened his own photography studio called ‘ Perou Factory’ in Hackney </li></ul><ul><li>In 2006 the studio was bought by the London Development Agency </li></ul>
  7. 7. <ul><li>2011 he has become famous for being the Photographer on the programme ‘Dirty Sexy Things’ on E4 </li></ul><ul><li>He is also known as a Fine Arts and Commercial Photographer not a Fetish Photographer but he does sometimes shoot Fetish like photographs. </li></ul><ul><li>He has hosted/ been involved in number of exhibitions. He has photographed catwalks and fashion models. He has been the judge on Make Me A Super Model and directed TV programmes 1991-2011 </li></ul>
