Build Relationships with high status Tweeters
Start replying to their tweets, retweeting their stuff and engaging them directly if you think their content is of high quality. The more you engage with them, the more link opportunities, retweets and shares may open up for you.

Use a Link Shortener that uses 301 Redirects
Good ones include Bit.ly, Ow.ly (Hootsuite) and T.co (Twitter) – will properly pass link juice

Ensure your site and content are EASILY shareable
Via Like buttons (soon +1), Tweet this, RSS, Email, Facebook or Twitter comments, etc.
