  • 3. Core Display Classes (1)

Core Display Classes (2) <ul><li>flash.display package: </li></ul><ul><li>Bitmap : GIF, JPG, PNG. </li></ul><ul><li>Loader : used to load external SWF or graphics. </li></ul><ul><li>Shape : draw vector graphics. </li></ul><ul><li>SimpleButton : Flash button symbol. </li></ul><ul><li>Sprite : can contain graphics and child display objects. </li></ul><ul><li>MovieClip : Flash movie clip symbol. It is similar to Sprite but MovieClip has timeline. </li></ul>

Core Display Classes (3) <ul><li>TextField : (from flash.text) display text display input. </li></ul><ul><li>Video : (from flash.media): display Video. </li></ul><ul><li>AVM1Movie : Loaded SWF files in AS1.0 &amp; 2.0. </li></ul><ul><li>DisplayObjectContainer : used to contain display objects. </li></ul><ul><li>InteractiveObject : base class for interact with mouse and keyboard. </li></ul><ul><li>MorphShape : These objects are created when creating a shape tween in the Flash. You cannot instantiate them using ActionScript, but they can be accessed from the display list. </li></ul><ul><li>Stage : the top of display list hierarchy. </li></ul>
